For example, an Easy Living Lift needs a pit depth of 130mm, with a headroom of 2,450mm for enclosed lift shafts and 2,500mm for lift glass structures (the lift headroom is measures from the finished floor level to the top of the residential lift shaft).
Our glass towers are space saving
Our glass lift shafts are space saving and actually take up less floor space than the masonry alternative. For instance each wall of an aluminium tower frame is only 50mm thick compared to the average masonry wall which is approximately 190mm thick on each side.
Our lift glass towers are made from steel or anodised aluminium. These can be powder coated with over 260 colours to chose from, and our glass panels are available in a wide range of tints.
