Established in 1998
Registered on the 17th of August 1998, by then joint owners Robert Pizzie and Dean Nesbitt. The business plan was simple: “To earn wages or better and enjoy our job”.

DomusLift DISCOVERED at Interlift
Robert and Dean scraped enough cash together to get themselves over to the biggest elevator industry trade show, “Interlift ‘99” in Germany where they discovered the DomusLift manufactured by IGV Lifts in Milan.

DomusLift launches in Australia
In 2000, buoyed with the confidence in our “product”, we embarked on getting the DomusLift certified in Australia. The entire process took 10 months and we sold 3 lifts that year.

In 2007, our expanding Melbourne customer base and soaring sales led us to outgrow our Richmond showroom, which prompted a subsequent move to a prime location in Collingwood, situated on Hoddle Street. In the early months of 2007, we boldly outlined our initial stretch goal, aptly named 30x10 - a target of achieving $30 million in new sales by the year 2010. The moment of setting and unveiling this ambitious goal was characterised by a sense of impact, enthusiasm, and excitement. At the time, the magnitude of the objective seemed almost overwhelming, and yet the response from our team was nothing short of remarkable. Little did we anticipate the rapid pace of our progress. Surpassing our own expectations, the goal that we initially thought would take three years to accomplish was astonishingly achieved in slightly over one year, marking an incredible testament to our dedication, determination, and the unparalleled support of our team. To celebrate this achievement, everyone involved enjoyed a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Fiji onboard the Tui Tai, immersing themselves in the local culture and experiencing the authentic Fiji, making our journey truly unforgettable.
