We’ve introduced cutting-edge technology, earned numerous awards, and expanded our product range. With a dedicated team and a growing customer base, we’ve become a trusted name, elevating homes across Australia. Established in 1998
Registered on the 17th of August 1998, by then joint owners Robert Pizzie and Dean Nesbitt. The business plan was simple:
“To earn wages or better and enjoy our job”.
DomusLift DISCOVERED at Interlift
Robert and Dean scraped enough cash together to get themselves over to the biggest elevator industry trade show, “Interlift ‘99” in Germany where they discovered the DomusLift manufactured by IGV Lifts in Milan.
DomusLift launches in Australia
In 2000, buoyed with the confidence in our “product”, we embarked on getting the DomusLift certified in Australia. The entire process took 10 months and we sold 3 lifts that year.
The first employee is hired
Our first employee, Pat Chisholm is hired as an installer.

We were unstoppable, with a budget set of 25 DomusLifts for 2001, we sold 28 lifts, marking the start of our ongoing success.

We gave the Easy Living Home Elevators Logo a fresh and modern look. In this revamped design, we made the company name more prominent while retaining the traditional symbol of vertical up and down arrows within a house, symbolising the elevator's motion.

Our very first company conference was held in the beautiful setting of Vanuatu. This pivotal event brought together our dedicated employees to create a strategic business plan that would drive our future growth and innovation. But it wasn't all business; team building activities played a significant role during the conference that helped strengthen our team's bonds. It marked a significant moment in Easy Living's history, setting the stage for our commitment to excellence and a tight-knit team atmosphere that continues to define our company culture.

SYDNEY HOME SHOW
The Sydney Home Show attracted 27,265 visitors over four days – and we reckon we spoke to each and every one of them! The interest in our range of high quality “designed to impress” elevators was astounding and we sold several lifts as a direct result of the show.

Award-Winning Project IN CAMMERAY
Easy Living played a pivotal role in an award-winning project that epitomised luxury living. We installed home lifts in two stunning two-story homes with breathtaking harbour and city views. This partnership with Sunland Group perfectly captures luxury living. The project won Best Apartment Under 10 Storeys and Apartment Project of the Year at the New South Wales HIA Awards.
Setting Ambitious Goals: Lindeman Island Conference
Our second sales conference, hosted by Peter Berry on Lindeman Island, carried the impactful theme: "30x10 It's as simple as that!" This theme symbolised our commitment to achieving the ambitious goal of reaching $30 million in sales by 2010. The conference delved into key topics crucial for attaining this milestone, focusing on strategies for Growing our Business, avenues for Improving our Business, and the critical importance of fostering a Culture to Impress through teamwork. It was a pivotal gathering dedicated to enhancing our collective vision and setting the stage for the company's future growth and success.
Little did we know we would smash this goal in slightly over one year!

Installers Conference: A Day of Growth and Team Building
In 2008, the Installers Conference was a highly engaging and insightful event for our dedicated team. Hosted by the renowned business coach, Peter Berry, the conference provided a unique opportunity for our installers to delve into what truly motivated them and their peers. It was a day dedicated to personal growth, focusing on the human side of our work rather than the technical aspects of installation. The 2 days was filled with interactive team-building activities and workshops, including an exhilarating go-karting session that brought out the competitive spirit and camaraderie among our installers. The conference concluded with a group dinner, providing a chance for some well-deserved relaxation and reflection on the day's learnings and experiences.

Easy Living proudly partners with this project, installing the SuperDomus Lift that serves the Eureka Skydeck on levels 88 and 89, standing 282 meters above ground level – the highest observatory in Australia and the Southern Hemisphere.
Collaboration with Swarovski
The collaboration joins Swarovski Elements, celebrated for their premium crystal elements, with the Easy Living iconic Domus range. This partnership led to the introduction of high-fashion luxury elevator design that distinguished it from traditional elevators. The outcome.......a true masterpiece in the form of a crystal-embellished elevator.

A collaboration with Italian glass mosaic leader Bisazza introduced a luxurious addition to the DomusLift range. This unique concept involved using glass mosaics to enhance the elevator's design, resulting in a sleek, modern appearance that creates an impressive artistic statement within homes.
Panoramic Lift Takes Center Stage
DesignEX 07 marked the introduction of the panoramic lift to the Australian market, captivating designers, architects, builders, and specifiers. Representing a realm of luxury, comfort, and style, the rounded panoramic lift offers stands as a pinnacle of innovation.
Industry's First 3 Year Lift Warranty
Easy Living proudly introduces a groundbreaking offering in Australia: a remarkable three-year warranty on residential lifts. OUR Transition to A Larger Premise in St Leonards
A surge in sales across Sydney and NSW, meant our customer base expanded rapidly, triggering the need for a larger showroom than the Brookvale office could accommodate. This growth propelled us to make a strategic move into a new building spanning three levels, this new location incorporated three operational elevators and the position of St Leonards, offered enhanced accessibility and convenience.
Easy Living's Growth Spurs Move to Prime Collingwood Location
In 2007, our expanding Melbourne customer base and soaring sales led us to outgrow our Richmond showroom, which prompted a subsequent move to a prime location in Collingwood, situated on Hoddle Street. This strategic relocation positioned us in a bustling area, with about 130,000 daily passersby. The move provided a larger premise, allowing us to showcase six operational elevators and platform lifts, highlighting our commitment to exceptional customer experiences and to continuous growth.
Perth's Introduction to Easy Living
In 2008, Easy Living strategically entered the Perth market with a significant step, the unveiling of our first display. This milestone showcased our iconic swing door lift as a fully operational centerpiece.

We hosted a Grand Opening Party to celebrate our transition to Collingwood. This event marked a significant milestone in our journey and was an opportunity to connect with our community, customers and showcase our dedication to providing exceptional elevators.
From Vision to Victory: Achieving $30 Million IN Sales 👏
In the early months of 2007, we boldly outlined our initial stretch goal, aptly named 30x10 - a target of achieving $30 million in new sales by the year 2010. The moment of setting and unveiling this ambitious goal was characterised by a sense of impact, enthusiasm, and excitement. At the time, the magnitude of the objective seemed almost overwhelming, and yet the response from our team was nothing short of remarkable. Little did we anticipate the rapid pace of our progress. Surpassing our own expectations, the goal that we initially thought would take three years to accomplish was astonishingly achieved in slightly over one year, marking an incredible testament to our dedication, determination, and the unparalleled support of our team.
To celebrate this achievement, everyone involved enjoyed a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Fiji onboard the Tui Tai, immersing themselves in the local culture and experiencing the authentic Fiji, making our journey truly unforgettable.

Easy Living's Ongoing Expansion
Continued growth propelled us into yet another move, transitioning from the St Leonards office to the Willoughby showroom. Here, we proudly showcase our fast AVANTI Lift operating at 1m/sec across three levels, alongside our iconic Advantage Lift. The Willoughby location's central positioning made it an ideal choice. Additionally, as our employee numbers expanded, we merged the employees from two Sydney offices into this new location, establishing it as our national head office. This strategic consolidation streamlined operations while ensuring our customers receive exceptional experience.

We proudly won the "Best Stand" award at the 2012 Master Builders "Building and Home Improvement Expo" in Melbourne. Our black and green stand stood out, setting it apart from fellow exhibitors.
