Self supporting glass and steel tower plays an important role
Our clients opted for the Evolution V3 home lift featuring an elegant, supporting glass tower as well as a smooth and whisper-quiet operating system. The fact that the Evolution V3 lift is built as a complete unit and has a supporting shaft means that the need for additional building works that are normally associated with home lifts can be reduced dramatically.
The elevator was custom designed and reflects the interior detailing found throughout the home, with Italian designer finishes, brushed stainless steel walls and doors to the highest standards.
The self supporting glass and steel tower plays an important role, ensuring the lift integrates within every level of the home whilst adding an architectural point of interest. The lift forms a direct connection to the landscaped yard, at the same time the glass tower opens the lower and upper levels to natural sunlight.
The home could be seen from a neighbouring building so it needed to have a strong public face as well as private feel, this was achieved with milky white – frosted glass, maintaining a comfortable level of privacy.
