Easy Living Home Elevators WINS the award for best home elevator IN THE WORLD contest 2020

Best home elevator IN THE WORLD

This elevator design was submitted by Easy Living Home Elevators, WINNING the award for best home elevator IN THE WORLD contest 2020. Presented by Elevator World, the premier elevator industry publication. Easy Living Home Elevators are absolutely thrilled to be selected as the first-place winner.
Frameless glass sliding doors give the elevator a luxurious edge, whilst providing fluidity and natural light.

A 'subtle, seamless, natural space'

This stunning family beach home, located on a generous 603sqm block atop a natural sandstone landmark ridge, is full of surprises. Seemingly an organic extension of the sandstone rock face, the floor plan offers 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a 4-car garage and level private lift access through all 4 levels of the home, luxury one expects in a home of this calibre.

The light-filled elevator captures the spirit of Bronte’s beauty with panoramic beach and ocean views, yet enjoying ultimate privacy and northerly sunshine. The lift shaft is surrounded by unique textured sandstone surfaces at one level and polished timber joineries and white plastered walls at other levels. While the surrounding area is decorated with a stunning array of rustic, ocean inspired artefacts to tie in with the natural surroundings of the home.

Frameless glass sliding doors give the elevator a luxurious edge, whilst also providing open fluidity and natural light, creating a sense of larger space. The interior finishes of the lift are finished off with stainless steel and mirror to tie in with Walter Barda’s concept which was to create a ‘subtle, seamless, natural space’ in this world-class surfside home.

Easy Living Home Elevators and Walter Barda Design have been successful with adding value and luxury one expects in a home of this calibre, whilst staying true to the design concept and elements in which the rest of the house portrays. A true masterpiece!
