Integrated automatic emergency lowering battery system: The elevator will lower to the lowest floor and the door unlocks in the event of mains power failure, eliminating passenger entrapment by ensuring fast and safe evacuation of passengers. Battery backup rescue system: In the unlikely event of power failure, the self rescue system ensures the safe journey of passengers to the nearest floor where the doors automatically open, ensuring fast and safe evacuation of passengers. (ECOTRAK Series 3 lift)
Fully-automatic rescue device: With floor level indication to ensure fast, efficient and safe evacuation of passengers in the event of an emergency. As an option, the system can incorporate a fully-automatic rescue device to evacuate passengers in the event of a power failure. TIPS FOR USING ELEVATORS SAFELY
Please follow this handy list of tips whenever you are using an elevator.
- When entering the elevator, walk to the back of the lift car, face forward and stand clear of the doors.
- Keep clothes and bags clear from the entrances.
- Children must always be accompanied by an adult, and hands held for the duration of the ride.
- Pets should be held firmly or held close on a leash.
- Never try to stop a closing door.
- Do not attempt to keep doors open by placing objects in their way.
- Do not overload or exceed carrying capacity.
- If you notice anything unusual, stop using the elevator and phone our service hotline on 1800 813 555.
IN THE EVENT OF AN ELEVATOR EMERGENCY
- If the elevator should ever stop between floors, do not panic.
- Never climb out of a stalled elevator.
- Use the ALARM or HELP button.
- Use the telephone to call our emergency hotline on 1800 813 555 for assistance.
- Wait for help to arrive and never try to leave an elevator that has not stopped normally.
- Emergency lighting will come on in the event of a power failure.
- Do not use elevators in the event of fire or an emergency.
