SHAFT & WALL FINISH: A smooth and plumb surface shall be provided with no ledges or shear ledges. Ensure shaft/walls are dry, stripped, cleaned, holes patched and free of construction debris and formwork nails or other protrusions prior to Easy Living Home Elevators start on site.
ABUTTING WALL: If there is an abutting wall opposite the control tower side, a 75mm additional clearance is required to comply with AS1735.
LIFT BASE: Client to provide suitable lift base and finish to floor penetrations, ensure base is dry, stripped, cleaned, holes patched and free of construction debris and formwork nails or other protrusions prior to Easy Living Home Elevators start on site.
GATE: Builder to provide gate at top landing to our shop detail dimensions (materials of your choice)
CONDUIT: Conduit in running face for gate wiring, to Easy Living Home Elevators specifications.
SHAFT BARRICADE: Supply, install and maintain shaft protection barricades to each landing entrance.
STORAGE AREA: Provide dry, clean and safe storage of the lift equipment on site. The location of the storage area shall be agreed with Easy Living Home Elevators and be close to the lift shaft and machine room.
STORAGE: Should the site not be ready for the installation works to commence upon equipment arrival, storage costs will apply.
ELECTRICAL: Provide electrical supply to the Lift Control location and terminate to a lock off isolator, to the Easy Living Home Elevators lift sub-board. 20 Amp single phase dedicated supply is required.
- Lift supply cabling by electrical contractor.
- Wiring to comply with AS3000 requirements.
PHONE POINT: Provide single separate telephone point to the lift controller drive cabinet. An extension point to the main house line is permissible in private dwellings only.
BINS: Bins to be supplied for rubbish removal.
